Regardless of why it was suspended, dealing with the loss of your license can be more stressful than most people imagine.
And it is very possible for your license to be suspended without you even knowing about it! You may have had a few moving violations that resulted in a suspension, but weren’t even notified by the DMV.
Unfortunately, you’ve still got to appear in criminal court and convince a judge that your mistake was not intentional, and that isn’t always easy. You need a criminal defense attorney to guide you through this process, and make sure you present the best case possible to try to save your license, and avoid a criminal conviction.
